Deborah’s paint­ings are gen­er­ally anatom­i­cally inspired images related to our often hid­den and spir­i­tual self. Each image offers an overview of some aspect of human anatomy as well as start­ing points for “awak­en­ing” into the paint­ing. If your expe­ri­ence is totally not in synch with the dia­logue, no prob­lem. Go with what feels right for you. That’s part of what makes it art. You are invited to over­lay your thoughts, feel­ings, and ideas onto an image as part of your per­sonal expe­ri­ence and journey.
